About this property

House of Rising Mid-Century Modern Home

Luxurious 6 bedroom 8.5 baths and 6,150 square feet, mid-century modern home with a finished basement in the heart of Sevierville!!  House of the Rising Sun was designed by world-renowned Architect Hubert Bebb. Hubert Bebb’s earliest major project in Tennessee was the 1955 creation of a starkly modern viewing tower for the Clingman’s Dome overlooking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

There’s plenty of room for everyone at this sprawling property in Sevierville! The vacation rental boasts 6 bedrooms, 8.5 baths, and beautiful outdoor space with a private hot tub, all backdropped by serene views of Paine Lake and the Smoky Mountains. Enjoy afternoon cookouts in the gazebo and evening entertainment down in the game room. When you’re not soaking in the many perks of this property, local hot spots like Dollywood and other Pigeon Forge attractions are just minutes away!

Great stay overall. Travis was very responsive when we had a couple minor issues/questions. The home overall is very spacious and is in a great location. Did notice a few of the toilets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned very well, but the rest of ...

Overall everything was perfect and plenty of room for our family all to get together here over our weekend stay here. There was someone working on something in the house upon arrival that couldn’t complete it and had to come back the following day bu...

While the location of the home centrally located in Pigeon Forge—our stay was unfortunately disappointing. We traveled with kids and infants, and several experienced skin breakouts likely due to the home’s cleanliness issues. There were spider webs a...

The house was just as described and matched the photos. It had plenty of space for our family of 12 to spread out and never felt cramped. I loved that my father was able to move throughout the home with his walker with no problem. Everyone enjoyed ha...

I hesitate to write such a good review because this place was such a dream and I need to be able to book it again next year. From the living room to the kitchen to the sun room it felt like I was living on a movie set. The kitchen alone is something ...

Beautiful house. The pond outback was beautiful with the snow on it.

Finding Travis' place was a pivot due to our other reservation getting cancelled due to frozen pipes the night before check-in. We were lucky to find it! The place was absolutely perfect for my friends wedding weekend at Nicholas Heir. It's close to ...

Do yourself a favor and don’t book this horrible property

This was the worst vacation our family has ever experienced. Not only did we have to deal with mice feces on our beds, a skunk living underneath one of the rooms. Garbage floating in dishwasher. Toilet seat broken. Spreads on the beds were filthy. ...

This place was awesome. We had 11 people and all had their own room. Kitchen was top notch. Already planning to come back next year. Travis was a great host.
